TRAVEL
Taxis and Ubers are not easy to come by in Red Hill late at night, so we have organised a local shuttle service to transport guets home at the end of the evening. This will be available to those staying within a 20km radius of our venue. Please let us know when you RSVP if you would like to catch the bus.
PARKING
There is limited parking available at both venues for those who wish to drive.

As January is peak tourist season on the Mornington Peninsula we strongly recommend booking your accommodation ASAP.

Our love story
HOW WE MET
We met the modern way - by swiping right! Being from the “insular Peninsula”, both of us had almost given up on the local dating scene, but after a few weeks of texting, something just felt different so we agreed to meet. We had dinner at a cosy wine bar in McCrae, and the whole evening was just easy, the conversation flowed, we discovered a lot of shared interests and values and we didn’t leave until we were the last ones left and the venue was closing. The next day unknown to each other, we both took our profiles down. A second date quickly followed and here we are 4 years later.
The proposal
Olivia proposed at the wine bar where we had our first date. It sounds like a really obvious choice, but we went there quite frequently so Lucas didn’t suspect a thing. It was a freezing and rainy night and the bar was practically empty, which meant it wasn’t an overly public proposal. Olivia had prepared a beautiful speech about all the things she loved about Lucas and how she saw their life together and presented a titanium ring that she had worked with a local jewelry designer to make. Lucas was floored that Olivia had beaten him to it but was over the moon and said yes.

SAMANTHA (she/her)
Olivia’s ex-housemate. Sam is a nurse, a keen traveler, and loves a good cocktail. At the wedding, you will find her taking Instagram photos for anyone who asks.

IZZY (she/her)
Olivia’s sister. Izzy is a talented designer with a coffee obsession. At the wedding, she’ll most likely be the one topping up your drink before you’ve finished your glass.

CHARLIE (they/them)
Olivia’s best friend. Charlie is a dancer and plays drums in a local indie band. They LOVE a chat so at the wedding, you’ll find them mingling with anyone and everyone.

RITCHIE (he/him)
Lucas’s older brother. Ritchie runs his own barber shop and knows everything about the DC universe. At the wedding, you will find him taking full advantage of the open bar.

ETHAN (he/him)
Lucas’s best friend. Ethan is a barista, a perpetual bachelor and a one-eyed Dees supporter. At the wedding, he’ll be the one watching the footy on his phone under the table.

Olivia’s brother. Isaac is an IT consultant and a fitness freak. At the wedding, he’ll be the one requesting Horses and dancing terribly but enthusiastically.
